Oatly

To start with way, way back in 2021 I was approached by Oatly to create a unique one off denim jacket. I couldn’t believe it at first; a product I actually use was approaching me and for such a cool project. The idea behind it was that every jacket would be reclaimed and then painted, stitched or printed by an artist and in this way signify the company’s sustainability.

Not only that but each jacket would contain a message based on a plant based lifestyle. Mine was ‘Choose Plants’, given to me by the team. The jackets would then be sold for charity on the company’s shop.

I decided to screen print the jacket as it’s a medium I’m familiar with and I already have a screen printer I work with here (Oficina Loba). In the end I was happy to see that my jacketsold on the Oatly website, which in my mind was the ultimate win.
